SUBJECT:  Update on the Federal Energy Tax Incentives

SPEAKER:  Abby Massey - Capstan Tax Strategies

Program Description:

Update on the Federal Energy Tax Incentives

The passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OB3) has had a major impact on the federal tax incentive landscape for building owners. In this session we will explore four different incentives related to the AEC and renewable energy industries included in the 179D tax deduction, investment tax credits, research & development tax credit, and cost segregation. In this conversation we will focus on the major changes to these programs, what opportunities are still available, and the potential for legislative change in the upcoming years.
